Required documents

Where to apply

At the consulate covering your U.S. address. Polish consulates do not accept applications from outside their district.

Additional notes

Polish citizens need no visa

Anyone entitled to Polish citizenship should be dealing with the passport and citizenship sections instead. Poland treats its citizens as Polish regardless of any other nationality they hold.

Card of the Pole

People of Polish descent who do not hold citizenship may qualify for a document recognising that descent, which carries its own benefits and is applied for at a consulate.

The 90/180 rule

Days spent anywhere in the Schengen area count towards the same allowance, tracked automatically at the border.

Documents in Polish

Supporting documents are frequently required in Polish translation. Ask before commissioning one in the United States.
