Consulates of Antigua and Barbuda in the United States

Antigua and Barbuda keeps two consular offices in the United States, in Miami and Washington. This page gives what we hold for each of them and links the six consular procedures Antiguan citizens ask about most.

Every office below carries the address and telephone we hold for it, and its official website where the mission publishes one. Where a field is missing it is because we do not have it, not because it does not exist.

Antigua and Barbuda has been a party to the Hague Apostille Convention since 1 November 1981. A U.S. birth certificate, marriage certificate, diploma or power of attorney needs an apostille from the Secretary of State of the state that issued it — not a consular legalisation. The office above does not need to stamp it, and should not charge you to.

Apostille status from the HCCH status table for the Convention of 5 October 1961, checked on 6 October 2026.

Closest is not always correct

Consulates divide the United States into jurisdictions by state, and the office nearest you is not necessarily the one that can serve you. Antigua and Barbuda publishes that division on its own missions' websites; we link those on each office page where the mission has one. For anything that needs you to appear in person, confirm which office covers your state before you travel. For postal services some offices accept applications from outside their jurisdiction and some do not — that one you have to ask.
