Additional notes
If your passport expired or was lost
Cambodians whose passport has expired, or been lost or stolen, and who need to travel home can obtain a travel document from the embassy for that purpose. Contact them before booking flights.
Give a working phone and email
The embassy asks for both on its forms and uses them when something is missing. An out-of-date address means a file that stalls silently.
Tracking is required
The prepaid return envelope must carry a tracking number. An ordinary stamped envelope is not accepted.
Children under six
They receive the five-year book. Plan a renewal around their sixth birthday rather than assuming ten years.
