Uganda keeps a single consular office in the United States, in Washington. This page gives what we hold for it and links the six consular procedures Ugandan citizens ask about most.
The office below carries the address and telephone we hold for it, and its official website where the mission publishes one. Where a field is missing it is because we do not have it, not because it does not exist.

U.S. documents for use in Uganda
Uganda is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. An apostille is therefore not enough: a U.S. document intended for use in Uganda goes through the full legalisation chain — authentication by the Secretary of State of the state that issued it, then the U.S. Department of State, then Uganda's own consular stamp. The last step is the office above, in person or by post.
Apostille status from the HCCH status table for the Convention of 5 October 1961, checked on 6 October 2026.
